Invited by the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, a delegation from Inner Mongolia University visited the MUST campus and attended celebrations for the 60th anniversary of its founding, which took place on Oct 14-17.
During the visit, the IMU delegation met with Baatar Ochirbat, president of MUST. Delegates expressed IMU’s sincere best wishes for the 60th anniversary of the founding of MUST, and presented gifts inscribed with traditional Mongolian characters.
The delegation also participated in discussions in two sub-forums of the Academic Excellence and Research Excellence forum during the 60th anniversary of MUST.
Moreover, the delegation had talks with leaders of MUST departments and teacher representatives. They discussed cooperation and exchange projects between the two universities and discussed specific methods to promote the cooperation and exchanges.
According to IMU officials, MUST signed a school-level cooperation agreement with IMU in 2015. This visit was seen promoting concrete exchanges and cooperation between the two universities and enhancing IMU’s levels of internationalization.
