On June 16th, the red carpet and graduation party, with the theme of "Brilliant Pearl Light up Bright Future, Northern Youth Depart for New Journey " of the 2024 graduating class of our school's was held at the Cultural and Sports Center of Yuquan Campus. President Wu Limin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Qiao Biao, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Head of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Autonomous Region Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision stationed at Inner Mongolia University Zhang Liping, Vice Presidents Liu Yongbin and Du Xiaodong, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Dean of the School of Transportation Bai Tuoya arrived at the event site and walked the red carpet and flowers road with more than 1000 graduates to watch the wonderful evening performance together.
From the red carpet to the flower road, school leaders and teachers from various schools walked side by side with graduates, sending them flowers all the way and wishing them a bright future! In front of the carefully designed signature boards on both sides of the flower road, students invite school leaders, teachers, and friends around them to take photos and capture moments with their cameras, commemorating the important journey of youth.
With the band's performance of 'Boundless Oceans, Vast Skies', the evening party officially kicked off. Under the illumination of the lights and the waving of fluorescent sticks, the teachers, classmates, and younger students who accompany each other day and night performed together on stage, sending infinite blessings to the graduates with farewell songs and youthful dances. The "Graduation Song Medley" expresses the nostalgia of graduates for their university life and their aspirations for the future; During the preparation for the CET-4 and CET-6 exams and final exams, the younger students carefully rehearsed performances such as "Mongolian Dance Medley," "Sheesh," and "New Dance," sending their best wishes to the graduating students who are about to leave school; The rap performance 'Celebration Wine' opened up the deep camaraderie among young people at IMU in a unique way; The video accompanying the song "As You Wish" was edited by the students themselves, with familiar learning and life scenes captured in the camera, and the development story of IMU over the past 67 years. It inspires graduates to uphold the school motto of "seeking truth and being pragmatic", aim high and remember the instructions, and live a fulfilling life with sincerity and kindness; The song "Little Happiness" adapted by the Youth League cadres sends full blessings to the graduates, wishing them to harvest their own "little happiness" in the future days.
At the party, school leaders drew lucky prizes for graduates, and a string of numbers filled with blessings pushed the atmosphere of the party to a climax. Amidst the chorus of "Graduation Song" and "School Song", the graduating class of 2024 bid farewell to their alma mater, teachers, and classmates, and made plans for the future.
